Good food across the board. Nice staff with timely service. Much appreciated. Fun quirk: Gandhi was strictly a teetotaler and anti alcohol. His birth state has banned alcohol for this reason. In the restaurant the non-alcoholic options were scarce. Not quite Gandhi in that aspect.

I loved it here!! It was so cool and the atmosphere was to DIE for?? It was so beautiful and I enjoyed the service here. Even the bathrooms were amazing, although they could do with bigger ones. I really loved the lobster, it was cooked amazingly, but it would have been better with a butter sauce! Nevertheless, it was delicious. The scenery outside was so cool and whimsy. There was also a lot of variety of food.

One of the best restaruants in Maidenhead, the food is fragant with spices & aromas, I had a dish which was considered spicey but the flavours were well balanced & the dish was exceptional. The heat was never the main contender, the protein & sauce with the pilau rice were cooked to perfection & took centre stage. Portion sizes are very generous so beware, we could easily have had the chaat special between us & been delightfully full. If you are looking for something different & exciting, this restaurant has precisely what you're looking for. A great night, truely special.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious—especially the Lamb Buna! A bit pricey, but well worth it for the quality and experience. Highly recommend for a special night out!

Welcome to Gandhi Indian Restaurant, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Maidenhead at 13 Boyn Hill Ave, SL6 4ET, United Kingdom. This charming restaurant specializes in authentic Indian cuisine, with a focus on delivering vibrant flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Gandhi Indian Restaurant promises a delightful dining experience for all, complemented by a commitment to excellent service and a cozy ambiance.

Upon stepping into Gandhi, you'll immediately notice the thoughtfully curated decor that reflects Indian heritage, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. The menu is a celebration of spices and fresh ingredients, offering a wide range of dishes that cater to every palate. One highlight is their impressive selection of seafood specialities, like the King Prawn Makhani, where succulent off-the-shell king prawns are cooked to perfection in a buttery almond sauce enriched with mild spices, all for £14.95. If you're craving something with a bit more kick, the King Prawn Achari brings the tangy flavor of tamarind to life for the same price.

For seafood lovers, the Lobster Special, featuring a unique Bangladeshi sauce, stands out at £25.95 — a striking representation of their culinary creativity. Pair your dish with a refreshing drink, and experience the joyful fervor of Indian dining.

The vegetarian offerings are equally impressive. Indulge in the Jhal Begun, a spicy baby eggplant dish that tantalizes the taste buds for only £11.95, or savor the Veg Kofta Curry at £10.95, making every meal gratifying for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.

With delightful desserts like Strawberry Cheesecake and Nouka ice cream — each priced at just £4.95 — you can satisfy your sweet tooth and end your meal on a high note. Diners have raved about the desserts, describing them as luxurious and perfectly indulgent.

According to our guests, the service at Gandhi is as commendable as the food. Customers like Nishath Jahan praise the authentic flavors and the beautiful ambiance, calling it a "must-visit." With a commitment to warm hospitality, the staff ensures that each guest feels valued and welcomed.

Yet, the experience isn't without its quirks. As noted by Abhinav Kumar, the restaurant embraces Gandhi's teetotaler philosophy, offering limited alcoholic beverages. This consciously aligns with the restaurant's namesake, but may surprise some diners looking for a broader selection.

The heartfelt reviews highlight a dining experience that is rich in flavor, culture, and romance, compelling guests like Kaddy Pawar to share their joy on special occasions.
